Lincoln Pubblic Schools In 2008, Tim joined the Lincoln Public School system's Technology Committee. Among other responsibilities, this group is tasked with developing an Acceptable Use Policy for computer and internet use throughout the Lincoln school district

Web Awards For the fourth time in as many years, Tim McMahon has been asked to judge entries in the The 2010 WebAwards sponsored by the Web Marketing Association

Now in its 14th year, the WebAwards is the premier annual website award competition that names the best Web sites in 96 industries while setting the standard of excellence for all website development.

Tim McMahon has been asked once again to judge entries in the prestigious Benjamin Franklin Awards™ program. It's an honor to be able to review and critique such high caliber works.

Named in honor of America's most cherished publisher/printer, the Benjamin Franklin Awards™ recognizes excellence in independent publishing. Publications, grouped by genre are judged on editorial and design merit by top practitioners in each field. The trophies are awarded to the best books in several categories and are presented to the publishers during a gala awards ceremony on the last evening of the Publishing University just before the opening of Book Expo America.

Adopt RI In 2008, after seeing a particularly moving Tuesday's Child clip on the mid-day news, we approached Adoption Rhode Island regarding maintenance of their website. After talks with Executive Director Darlene Allen , we acted for a period of time as their interim webmaster until they were able to fill the vacated position http://www.adoptionri.org/ website.

In 2007, Eleven Limited was proud to sponsor two scholarships to Ocean State Action's New Voices Campaign Institute. We provided funding to allow two minority female scholars to attend this exciting training program that fall. The program is designed for people who are interested in being able to lead electoral campaigns, or may even run for office some day.

Hearthside House: We are happy to provide our web development skills to Hearthside House at a greatly reduced rate. Here in Lincoln, we have so many historical gems that it's hard to turn a corner without bumping into one of them. Hearthside, also known as "The House That Love Built", is run by the Friends of Hearthside — a nonprofit organization with 501(c)(3) status. The mission of Friends of Hearthside, Inc. is to promote the historical significance of this landmark as well as the cultural heritage of Lincoln and the Great Road Historic District. We are proud to have built and to continually maintain Hearthside's website.

WWW Creative Director Tim McMahon was accepted as an Invited Expert to work with the World Wide Web Consortium's HTML Working Group and the eGovernment Interest Group. The mission of the eGovernment Interest Group (eGov IG) is to explore how to improve access to government through better use of the Web and achieve better government transparency using open Web standards at any government level (local, state, national and multi-national).
